While in college she competed in the 100M and 200M hurdles. When asked how eld track and field has helped her in life she responded

“Track has helped me in life by instilling the willpower to always overcome my obstacles. By running track I grew to learn that workouts hurt but the pain is temporary. Same with life. We will go through pain and heartache but it’s temporary and it will only make you stronger.

Before any race or obstacle in life, I always reminded myself of

Philippians 4:13

I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me! “.

Track is an individual sport so you are responsible for your performance. If you don’t put the work in you won’t get any results!”
