John Whitaker, President
John Whitaker is originally from Moultrie, Georgia and is currently serving as Team Chaplain and Advisor.
He is a 26 year U.S. Navy Veteran and Ordain Minister.
During his 26 years of outstanding military service he has served a total six years as Protestant Lay Leader on three different Navy war ships. He taught Navy’s Leadership courses for three years to over 3,000 Officers and Senior Enlisted personnel in the Gulf Coast region. John was selected as Instructor of the Year for the entire East Coast.
Other positions of leadership led by John includes: Lead Pastor of Harvest Christian, Serves on Board of Directors for Jesus Saves International Ministries, Senior Enlisted Leader for the Engineering Department onboard USS Stephen W. Groves, Operations Department Head at Navy Operations Support Center, Pensacola. Jumps Coach for Golden Elite Track Club.
John graduated from Coastline County College with and Associate’s in Electrical Mechanical Engineering with a concentration on Workforce Education. Also has an Associate’s Degree in Biblical Studies from the International School of Ministry.
Michael Etheredge ,Vice President
Has over 30 years of working with youth. Etheredge is a Military Veteran serving for 6 years in the U.S.Army.Worked for U.P.S. for 20 years. Has been a member of the Pensacola community for over 25 years. Has 4 children and 4 grand children.
Rick Carroll , Treasurer
Rick Carroll, a Florida licensed CPA, joined JetPay in June 2012 and currently serves as Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for development and implementation of the corporate strategic plan with emphasis on increasing market share, data management, and cost control.
Prior to joining JetPay, Mr. Carroll had his own accounting/tax practice for over 10 years. Before that, Mr. Carroll held financial positions in the Banking and Healthcare industries. Mr. Carroll earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of West Florida.
Pamela Martinez-Hall, Public Relations
Pamela Martinez-Hall is originally from Texas, but as a military brat, she
traveled to Okinawa, Andrews AFB, and Venezuela, finally making Northwest
Florida home. Mrs. Martinez-Hall graduated from the University of West
Florida with a bachelor’s in English Education and taught English at Navarre
High School for 10 years. She currently volunteers with Montessori School of
Pensacola’s PTO and has served as a volunteer for Golden Elite for two
years. She is married to Phil Hall, who also volunteers with the program.
Their children, Nicholas and Aidan Hall, compete with Golden Elite, Nicholas
as a distance runner and Aidan as a thrower.
Dallas Glenn Board Secretary
Dallas Glenn is a throw coach and as a Substitute Teacher for the Escambia County School District. Dallas is also a student at the University of West Florida pursuing his Bachelor’s in Teaching and Learning, and is a graduate of Pensacola State College with an Associate’s degree in English. In his short Track and Field coaching career, he has already coached 4 nationally ranked throwers and has had a hand in coaching a state champion decathlete.
Jerome Chisolm Board Member
Jerome Chisolm originally from South Carolina is a retired Army Officer ( Major) and high school principal. Most recently, he retired as principal of Escambia Charter School, the oldest Chartered high school in the State of Florida. The school catered to students achieved measurable success and received their diplomas. Under his leadership the school earned it accreditation from The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools( SACS). In 2013 the school was selected by the USA Today Newspaper as one of The National Winners in the annual Make A Difference Day. In 2016 the Florida Consortium of Public Charter Schools recognized the school as one of two who continued to operate in the State of Florida for the past 20 years. Mr. Chisolm has a bachelor’s degree in History from South Carolina State University. He is a graduate of the Command General Staff College and a Masters of Public Administration from Troy State University.
Jeanette A. Gatlin, Board Member
Jeanette A. Gatlin, a 26 Years U.S. Army (Retired) family Wife, originally from New York City, Transferred to Pensacola from Fort Hamilton, New York September 1988, worked in the Banking and Finance Industry Navy Federal Credit Union, and Regions Bank. Became Financial Manager for Justin Gatlin late 2003, and The President of the Gatlin Group, LLC to Present. Mrs. Gatlin sat on the Board of Directors of Gulf Coast Kids House from 2005 to 2010. I am currently on the Board of Arbitration For the State of Florida Motor Vehicle Program, my appointment has been approved yearly since Year 2000.
